Location: South of Goa
The south of Goa is well-known to be the most beautiful and serene part of the state. Backed by coconut plantations and green hills, without doubt it’s the home of the finest beaches. This season Turiya Yoga is more than happy to be offering their 200-Hour yoga teacher training in a beautiful Yoga resort which can be found near one of South Goa’s most peaceful and unspoilt seaside locations, cosy Agonda Beach.
The South of Goa is known for its tropical natural beaches, temples, water falls, hill spots, paddy fields and coconut groves. The resort isbetween 2 of the most cherished beaches in South Goa: Palolem Beach and Agonda beach. Whilst Palolem is known for its hippie market and lively charisma; Agonda is known to be the nice long pristine beach in Goa (number 1 beach in India according to TripAdvisor!). Simple, natural, a turtle nesting site: here you can relax, swim and enjoy the sun while listening to the comforting sound of the breeze going through the palm trees.
The Yoga resort is specialized in welcoming yoga groups and therefore is more than used to welcoming international groups. It is only 4km from Palolem Beach and 5km from Agonda beach. Transport is done quite easily, taking just some Indian rupees and 10 minutes. Like this our students can truly enjoy both, the beaches and, at the same time, the retreat needed to leap into their yogic journey.
Types of Accommodation: Single and Sharing Cottages
The yoga student can choose between staying in a sharing cottage or a single cottage. Keep in mind there are only 3 single cottages. Each cottage provides:
- comfortable bed
- linen and bedding
- a fan
- mosquito net
- a structured western bathroom with shower (with hot water 24h)
- Refillable mineral water
The rooms are cleaned according to request and the resort does take care of its security by not allowing anyone besides students, teachers and crew inside. In addition, the yoga resort offers wi-fi (although we urge students to try to be as much disconnected as possible) and mineral water so you can refill your bottles during the day.
